AINSHE
IMPRESSIVE Peanut is a 2001 chestnut breeding stock mare out of our #1 sweetie, Harley. Her full sister, a 2003 filly, is a loud overo. Ah, isn't breeding for color fun?!... But that's okay - she won my husband's heart the day she was born. Peanut is put together very well; in fact, she won her only Halter outing against a mixed class of tobianos, overos and solids! (he-he) She carries lots of famous "Bars": Three Bars, Lightning Bar, Magnolia Bar, Gay Bar King, Lenas Bar, Sugar Bars. Her Top Deck line includes Moon Deck, Jet Deck and Rebel Cause.
She has had two foals now, both by Chamois. The first was a solid
palomino, the second is a tobiano palomino (Tanka). The first one had
an easy disposition, even though I did very little with him. I am sure
her second will be even better. Peanut has turned quite a bit darker
this year, to the point that I would now call her a chestnut! |
